New York: Limited Editions Club, 1951. Limited edition #1211 of 1500, signed by binding designer Jan Van Krimpen and illustrator Frans Lammers.

This appears to be a scarce variant binding with black morocco over tan leather covers, with a gilt stamped tulip on the front cover, accompanied by a light colored and unlabeled slipcase. Most other examples found online are bound in full tan and housed in a black, labeled slipcase.

A beautiful binding.

In very good condition with volume showing light wear to exteriors and a small chip to the corner of the spine's thick morocco title label, otherwise volume is fine. Slipcase showing wear to extremities.
